The owners, Mario and Daniela, have moved here from Florence over 40 years ago and have decorated the garden and the villa with tipical Florentine taste and elegance. Main villa’s and garden’s fornitures are designed by the owner and are realized by local wrought iron and ceramic artists. Most of the pictures that decorate all the rooms represents ancient and modern images of Florence realized by famous and historic illustrators like Zocchi and Alinari.
The owners' passion for trees and flowers, expecially ancient roses, have made unique the garden surrounding the villa, that is full of uncommon plants. The property is also dominated by an ancient cypress, today reported as monumental tree of Italian forests. The surrounding estate includes 6 hectares, populated by wild pheasants, hares, squirrels and deers. From the olive groves the owners produce a delicious oil considered one of the most fine of the countryside around. |
ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

Superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by cold mechanical means (millstone). The trees are sites right at the limit of the optimal growing area at 330 feet above sea level. The orchards are not irrigated, a tipical Tuscan system which improves quality thanks to the clay terrain. The fruits of Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino trees are collected by hand from olive grove of Villa Rose del Chianti in Gaville. Figline Valdarno – Florence – Italy |
